Halloween Haunted House | 10 Day 1000 Word Challenge
During the month of October our family and friends all gather together and make our Halloween haunted house. We have been doing this for three years. We started doing this because my brother had a type of blood cancer called Leukemia. Our family pediatrician’s husband had been doing the haunted house for a long time before that. When he heard that my brother had cancer he decided that he would do it at my house to help him feel happy even though he could not go trick or treating.
The first year we made a tunnel, the second year we made a spaceship crashing into a graveyard and this year our theme is spooky clowns. This year we bought some of the clown decorations in Lake George. For three hours I sat in the back of my mini van with a skeleton and scarey clown looking at me. I was scared even in broad daylight.
I love the time of Halloween because I get to go trick or treating and I also love it because I get to help my friends and make a big scarey haunted house. This is so much fun since so many people come and see it.

I like that haunted house you make every year sometimes I go in it and stay in till someone comes and I jump at them to scare them it is fun doing that . : )
Every year I like that haunted house. Me and my class have lots of fun going inside.
I feel sad that your brother had cancer and can’t go trick or treating but its good that you set up this haunted house every year to cheer him up.
Hey I think that this years haunted house theme is going to be great I think its going to be scary and funny . Here is a secret I like to tell you I’m a little bit afraid of clowns. I get the chills every time I see them because once I watched a horror movie and it was a violent clown that was killing people I was terrified it had claws to. But right now I’m starting to get over that fear. Well bye for now Tim.

My name is Ezio and I love trick or treating. I am so sorry for your brother. For his blood cancer I saw him a couple of times and he is a good kid.
I love haunted houses. They are really scary. I have been in your haunted house twice and I would like to go and see it again. I always wonder ” How will it look like next year.” I find that you put a lot of work in to it. I like the sentence that you were in your mini van for 3 hours with decorations staring at you. This will be the last time I will trick or treat. Next year I will hide behind my hedges and when people walk by I will jump out and say BOO!!! I can not wait till it is Halloween I will be dressing up as a grandmother. See you at Halloween Mia.

Hi Mia!
I find it really awesome that you decorate your house! When I visited your house it was really scary! This year I’m going to be alot more scared because clowns freak me out! I love to go trick or treating also! Just a question, what are you going to dress up as for Halloween as? I’d love to know! I went trick or treating since I was 3 years old I think, I think the first thing I dressed up as was a rabbit or a dog.
This year I’m going to dress up as a death angel, more like a angel but dressed all in black.

Hi Mia,
I love the haunted houses you and your family make. I went to the tunnel one and also the one with the aliens and all that last year.
It was so fun over there!
One time in the tunnel, I was walking inside it, and someone just poped out and that scared me.
I go trick or treating every year ever since I was 1year old. I was dressed as a teddy bear!!
This year I am dressing up as the 80′s ! I tried it on yesterday and I looked AWESOME!!! Can’t wait for you to see it on Friday night at the dance!! I can’t wait to go trick or treating!!!!

The first time I went trick-or-treating I was around 1 year old and then every year I always go trick-or-treating . And this year I am going to dress up as a midget mad hatter

I love haunted house because it is really well decorated and last year there was a women that was saying give me your candy.
And I remember when he had cancer it was really sad .

I would like to say a special thank you to Ashley,Brittney,Ezio,Josee,Tim Alenjandro.I hope I can answer all of your comments in one comment I am also very excited for Halloween!!
I love Halloween because everyone that I know comes to my house to see the Haunted House. In one of the comments you guy’s sent me it said what is it going to be this year.The thing is that it is almost Halloween so you will have to wait for Friday or Sunday.We will have the Haunted House open for 3 days but candy will only be only on Sunday.
Brittney asked me what I was going to be this year.It may sound silly but depending on what the weather is I will be a baby(pajamas)but my real costume will be Little Red Ridding Hod.Witch I will wear to the Dance.

Hi Mia,
Wow this year I relly loved the haunted house.
It was to fun to go in.
The actors were very scary looking but they were nice to me. i asked one to scare one of my friends and he did it.
I laughed because they got very scared I’m brave so I was all good.
You now the girl that was on the grass that was telling us Dont do there Dont go there well we took a picture with her.
I had so much fun.
I’m looking forward to next year

Mia I really love the haunted house you make each year with your whole family. I remember this year that I was dress as a nerd and I had pens in my pocket and lost them in your haunted house. It was sad but I got new ones.
